Cap America, Inc.’s Chairman and CEO, Phil Page and President and COO Mark Gammon met with Senator Claire McCaskill this morning at her office in Cape Girardeau, MO. Cap America’s goal is to protect not only our own 270 employees, but also the surrounding community and all of Missouri’s small businesses and their workers.

Phil stated this morning: “We employ 275 people in Fredericktown and rely heavily on imported cloth caps for our product. The Administration’s tariffs are threatening our bottom line, as well as the significant economic activity that we bring to the state. On top of that, the scariest part of this is the uncertainty. I’m glad that Senator McCaskill is standing with Missouri businesses that are being undermined by these tariffs, and I know she won’t stop fighting for us.”

For more info on how these tariffs will affect the promotional products industry or to take action, you can visit Promotional Products Association International (PPAI)’s website or contact your elected officials.
